When you see The River Queen it reminds you to surrender to the natural flow of events. Letting go of anything that no longer serves you or resonates with your true path. You may find that people are leaving your life that no longer resonate with your chosen path. However, new people will come into your life to take their place.

To go with the flow requires you to be more fluid

By letting go of rigidity you allow the flow of your natural instincts. Nothing can hold you back now if you’re willing to surrender to the natural flow of events. Try not to be so rigid in your relationships by having an air of non-attachment to outcomes. Any obstacles you encounter on your journey will be easily surmountable. Just let go and you may be surprised where the river takes you.

This is also a time in which you are asked to become extremely clear about the perceptions and beliefs you hold that, in turn, hold you back. You are getting ready to breathe fire into the next phase of your journey. Going with the flow is responding to cues from the universe and letting them lead you to what is needed in your life right now. It’s about conscious trust and collaboration with what’s showing up for you.

Furthermore, on a collective level, humanity is having to adapt to change very quickly and the only way to keep up is to take it as it comes and not let it overwhelm you. Take the path of least resistance and be like the river, go with the flow.

Message from the book

The River Queen flows into your life as an Ally to remind you about the concept of allowing and the Law of Non-attachment. Remember that all rivers come from the mountains and run to the sea to be absorbed by the larger body of water. There the liquid evaporates into clouds that rain on the mountains to continue an endless cycle of fluidity.

The River Queen requires you to be fluid and to let go of rigidity and perfectionism. You will travel far as long as you let go and let flow, even manoeuvring around the greatest blockages like water streams around big boulders. No obstacle can hold you back now if you’re willing to surrender to the natural flow of events. Be easy on yourself and others, and watch how smoothly you move forward. You may be surprised where the river takes you.

Turbulent waters and rapids to cross are directly ahead for you. You have no boat to navigate now; it is just you in the water, going where it takes you.

That said, although the River Queen is your Challenger here, she has no intention of letting you go under. Even when there is a waterfall ahead, there is no reason to fear. The River Queen will help you over it so you can splash down again in the gentle waters of the river below, flowing with renewed purpose to the sea.

Be fearless now and go with the current of events. This can be an adventure! ~ Colette Baron-Reid

Do I change like a river, widening and deepening, eddying back on myself sometimes, bursting my banks sometimes when there’s too much water, too much life in me, and sometimes dried up from lack of rain? Will the I that is me grow and widen and deepen? Or will I stagnate and become an arid riverbed? Will I allow people to dam me up and confine me to a wall so that I flow only where they want? Will I allow them to turn me into a canal to use for their own purposes? Or will I make sure I flow freely, coursing my way through the land and ploughing a valley of my own?”  ― Aidan Chambers,
