When you see Suffering in Silence, you are indeed heavily burdened or at the very least, think you are. This picture is suggesting you have come to the end of the road and you’re looking toward the heavens for an answer. It’s possible that your past may have caught up with you or something you thought was done and dusted, has reared its ugly head and resurfaced once more bringing all its unpleasantness with it. Are you worried about how others see you?
Are you allowing any issues to become bigger than they really are?
You have probably been allowing limiting thoughts to control you and this card shows that you finally need to let go. It would be better to face your fears head-on so that new people and conditions can manifest. If you don’t take this opportunity to confront your fears then your mental anguish will continue. Are you finally ready to let go of any limiting beliefs? When you feel as if there is no way out, try to look at your situation from a different perspective.
When you are mindful of your thoughts you come to realise that thoughts come and go of their own accord; that you are not your thoughts. You can watch as they appear in your mind, seemingly from thin air, and watch again as they disappear. Thoughts are transient as they come, go, and ultimately, you have a choice about whether to act or ignore them. You are not your thoughts!
The card Suffering in Silence is a reminder to take action and to trust that your soul and the power of the spirit will grasp you firmly by the hand and guide you. You must take the first step toward healing and make peace with who you are, get real and let go of the mental distress. Just remember, you die if you worry, you die if you don’t.
