Rest and Rejuvenate is a card that is connected to time-out, healing, peace and quiet
Rest and Rejuvenate is the card drawn today from The Psychic Tarot Oracle Deck by John Holland. It is the 4th card of the suit mental from the Minor Arcana. This card is equivalent to the 4 of swords, in a traditional tarot spread.
The number 4 symbolises structure, foundation, realisation, stable situations and planning. All fours are concerned with structure and operate within tight, defined frameworks, deriving power through discipline, control and order.
The Indigo border denotes inner wisdom and perception, as well as a vivid imagination. Indigo is associated with the third eye chakra.
When you see Rest and Rejuvenate it means its time to chill out. Intense pressure surrounds you now and you may be finding it hard to think clearly as your mind is overloaded. You are coming out of the emotional or mentally taxing experience and it’s time to heal and rest, spending time alone to re-evaluate your life’s direction. In your present state, you cannot deal with your situation.
You can regroup and recharge your worn out batteries by stepping back and distancing yourself from any upsetting situations. It is important to take time out now and it will put you in a much better position to deal with your problems. You need to find peace and quiet and the sooner the better.
This is also a time to build up your mental strength by meditating and spending time in a calm atmosphere. Silence and tranquillity will help you gain perspective and balance. After every crisis and before every new challenge, there is always a time of relaxation and contemplation. It’s a time to heal and be with your soul, so you can continue to move steadily forward.
It’s a chance to stand back and review your life anew and see what changes can be made to create a healthier and stronger foundation. However, realise that you are already everything that you need to be. You are not your past or your thoughts.
In regards to relationship, Rest and Rejuvenate can suggest that you are taking the time out to strengthen and consolidate your relationship. Unfortunately, it can reveal that a partner has retreated from the relationship. They may be silent, distant and avoid communication or physical contact. You may feel that your relationship or marriage has run its course and can’t be rejuvenated. However, it is better to sit this one out and not give in to knee-jerk reactions. You are not in the right frame of mind to make important decisions.
Every person needs to take one day away. A day in which one consciously separates the past from the future. Jobs, family, employers and friends can exist one day without any one of us, and if our egos permit us to confess, they could exist eternally in our absence. Each person deserves a day away in which no problems are confronted, no solutions searched for. Each of us needs to withdraw from the cares which will not withdraw from us.
