Patience is a card related to balance and a needed respite from suffering
Patience is the card drawn today from The Psychic Tarot Oracle Deck by John Holland. It is the 14th card of the Major Arcana. This card is equivalent to the Temperance (Sagittarius) in a traditional tarot spread.
The number 14 in numerology would become 5 which vibrates with the energy of: change, uncertainty, realignment, inconsistency, freedom and travel, personal freedom, unconventional, individualism, non-attachment, change, life lessons learned through experience, variety, adaptability and versatility, resourcefulness, motivation, progress, activity, experience, travel and adventure, sympathy and understanding, sociability and companionability.
When you see Patience, it means you will exert the greatest amount of control over your life because you have found peace within. You have finally found a greater degree of acceptance for who you are and what you believe. At this stage of your journey, you have matured considerably and have learned many lessons.
This card reflects that you have a clear, long-term vision of what you want to achieve. Skill and carefulness are involved in this stage of the process of changing anything that does not fit your vision. You are not rushing things along but instead taking time to ensure that you do the best job you can.
It can also reflect higher learning in what you are doing and a realisation that you are learning a great deal on your journey. You are at peace with what you are doing and it is all coming together very well.
Success will be achieved by maintaining a strong sense of purpose and approaching the situation in a balanced manner. Keep your eye on the bigger picture and don’t be lured into actions that are counterproductive to your spiritual growth and personal development.
The idea now is to do what it takes to find balance in yourself, in your relationships and with your goals and aspirations. It’s all about learning to balance your outer persona ( physical world) with your inner persona ( spiritual world).
In regards to relationship, Patience may represent a Sagittarian partner. Great harmony and peace within a relationship are indicated as a couple strike the right balance and enjoy mutual respect and love. It can also suggest a couple, who know exactly what it takes to make a relationship or marriage work. A mature relationship is full of understanding with a strong sense of purpose and direction.
In regards to health, Patience, (Sagittarius fire), can mean anything hot fast and intense, it can suggest a sudden onset of fevers, burns and excessive behaviour gone too far. It rules exotic places indicating infections from a foreign land or person. Also indicates sports injuries, problems with the hips, sacrum, coccyx, thighs, and sciatic nerve.
Patience and moderation will result in good management of all things. Do not feel that you need to rush, just let the situation evolve at its own natural pace. By taking the time to carefully blend all the elements (fire, water, earth and air) in suitable proportions, you will find the right balance to succeed in attaining your goals.
The keys to patience are acceptance and faith. Accept things as they are, and look realistically at the world around you. Have faith in yourself and in the direction you have chosen. ~ Ralph Marston
Patience is power. Patience is not an absence of action; rather it is “timing” it waits on the right time to act, for the right principles and in the right way.” ~ Fulton J. Sheen
