Harmony is a card that is connected to a deep spiritual initiation, partnership or union taking place, now or in the future
Harmony is the card drawn today from The Psychic Tarot Oracle Deck by John Holland. It is the 6th card of the Major Arcana. This card is equivalent to The lovers, (Gemini) in a traditional tarot spread.
The number 6 resonates with the energy of; Harmony, appreciation, self-sacrifice, loyalty and responsibility, caring, teaching, conventional, provider, protector, healer, idealistic, selfless, honest, charitable, faithful, nurturer, truth, order, economy, emotional depth, curiosity, deep love of home and family, humanitarian, service, unselfishness, balance, good provider, peaceful, self-sacrifice, empathy, sympathy, unconditional love.
When you see Harmony it means a deep relationship could be taking place but it doesn’t always represent a love affair of the heart. It could signify other forms of relationships whether they’re personal or business-related. They can be forged with a pet, group or organisation.
Harmony is about deciding to follow your heart’s desire. When you choose to act on what you love, you have to live with the consequences of those choices. But if you act on your heart’s desire, you make choices that are right for you and the world conspires to support you.
It can suggest that in a relationship, one may prefer a more spiritual union rather than a physical one. It’s also a card for questioning the relationship you have with yourself. Learning to love yourself before you can love another.
Decisions about love and relationships, in general, apply unless a specific question has been asked. It can suggest a new relationship, generally at the onset of a relationship when one is first falling in love and consumed with romance and passion.
Ask yourself these questions:
What is it that draws or attracts me to them?
Do I fully understand why I select the type of partners that I do?
Is this partnership for my highest good?
How can I make it stronger?
Are we learning from each other?
Am I growing in this relationship?
You may gain important information about yourself and the nature of relationships in your life if you take time to analyse this. If your relationships are generally successful then you have little to ponder over but if you have a pattern of getting hurt or being taken advantage of, then it may be you that is at fault and not the partners you choose. Sometimes there needs to be boundaries and self-respect
Harmony can also suggest that there may be someone interested in you or admiring you from a distance that you are not aware of at present.
Because of the dual nature of Gemini, one of their challenges is to learn how to decide. Therefore this card may stand for decisions of any kind and not just relationships. This card represents the masculine and feminine, opposites, duality and conscious/subconscious aspects.
The man instructs a woman on the ways of the world through physical and direct experience while the woman helps a man understand that he has a spiritual purpose to fulfil, that he is first and foremost spirit learning to live in the physical.
“Through our eyes, the universe is perceiving itself. Through our ears, the universe is listening to its harmonies. We are the witnesses through which the universe becomes conscious of its glory, of its magnificence.”
