Balance is a card that is connected to harmony between your inner and outer life
Balance is the card drawn today from The Psychic Tarot Oracle Deck by John Holland. It is the 11th card of the Major Arcana. This card is equivalent to Justice, (Libra) in a traditional tarot spread.
In numerology, the number 11 is a master number which represents: Vision, balance, invention, congruency, fulfilment and higher ideals. Also, psychic abilities, channelling, poetry, artistic, symbols, expression, dreamer, revolution, drugs, alternate consciousness, mysticism, catalyst, prisoner, the prophet.
The picture on the card shows a beautiful angel, surrounded by a golden circle. In front of him are four artefacts representing the four suits, wands (fire), pentacles (earth), cups (water) and swords (air). He is in perfect symmetry and equilibrium.
When you see Balance, it shows a need for harmony between your inner and outer world. A balance between your physical, emotional, spiritual and mental state of being. Of course, you may need to make some lifestyle adjustments in order to create this. Becoming self-aware is a step towards the creation of the life that you want.

This may be a time for you to sit down and think about your lot and what you have said and done. Be honest with yourself first and then be honest with those around you. It is time for you to account for your actions. Are you worried about been judged unfairly by others? You may be surprised to find that they will be on your side once you give them the full truth and facts. If you are experiencing stress, it’s more easily managed if you maintain balance in your life. It is difficult to control the events in your world but you can control how you respond to them.
There are steps you can take to change what isn’t working and get back some control and balance in your life. And once you start seeing results you’ll be better equipped to maintain that newfound equilibrium. The key is not to try to change everything at once, but to make small adjustments over time to determine what works for you. Eventually, you will have a whole new set of positive life habits and you’ll never look back!
Do you need to give yourself some more free time?
Balance indicates that your impending decision is an irreversible one and that your free will in making it will be a force that pours a foundation on which the rest of your life may be set.
Balance denotes that some lifestyle adjustment is needed in either love, relationships, business or career. Whatever is out of kilter for you, this card is here to remind you to create more harmony. Working on keeping the proper perspective about life will help you to stay centred. Also, this card could literally mean that you are balancing your accounts or your taxes.
In regards to relationships, this card would indicate that you are being totally honest with your partner or that you take full responsibility for where the relationship is right now. Make a date with your significant other, have coffee with a friend, play a game with a child. Really get to know the people around you. Surround yourself with positive, supportive, can-do people whenever possible. Do your relationships need to be given more time?
Because this card is associated with Libra, there could be health problems related to the organs. Also, lower back, kidneys, adrenals, ovaries and inner ear are indicated. Your health really does affect the quality of your life and your work. You are far more productive and happier when you get enough sleep, eat a little healthier and fit in some type of activity.
“The consistency in your person from home to work is vitally important so that you are in total balance at all times. Being out of balance means that your true self will start to be confused with what you pretend to be.” ~ Catherine Pulsifer
